Virtual General Counsel Oklahoma Elderly Abuse Lawyers | Greer & Mcgill
With the advances of technology, many businesses are out-sourcing administrative and support functions which are used to be performed in “brick and mortar” offices right down the hall. This phenomenon is even more prevalent when the support function is not a daily occurrence and/or predominately utilized.
Greer & McGill, P.C., Oklahoma elderly abuse lawyers, now offer businesses who do not have the budget for paying In-House Counsel (normally a six figure annual expense); yet, desire the benefits, advantages, advice and guidance that provides, a cost efficient option for the same expertise and skill. The following outlines the services, fees and restrictions of this relationship:
Services
- 365 General Counsel: Rather than “running down the hall” to discuss a legal issue that just cropped up, G & M provides the Client with immediate access to experienced, licensed attorneys to help you with your legal issues. Obviously, questions or concerns raised during normal business hours lend to a more timely response. However, G & M is there to assist Clients with advice and counsel, day or night, seven days a week, throughout the year when your legal matters arise.
- Document Review: Through the course of any business, managers and owners are inundated with a myriad of legal documents that directly impact their business success. G & M provides prompt document review by skilled attorneys to assist the owner/manager with questions, clauses or concerns in all types of contracts and legal documents with clients, vendors, employees, land/lease holders, management staff, regulatory boards and enforcement agencies.
- Custom Document Preparation: Most businesses have “forms” that are utilized routinely in the operation of their company. However, many times a unique and/or critical development occurs that requires a tailored legal document to fit the situation and reduce the risk of loss, increase enforceability and protect the Client’s interests. G & M provides custom tailored legal document preparation (absent real estate closings) ranging from employment contracts, termination agreements, non-competes, proprietary information protection agreements, non-disclosure agreements, ant-slander agreements, releases, waivers, non-suits, vendor agreements and lease agreements for land and equipment.
- Annual Systematic Review: With recurrent Federal and State changes and statutory amendments to legislation that impacts business owners on a daily basis in their relationships with employees, regulatory bodies, vendors and customers, periodic legal review is essential. G & M will review for compliance and legal efficiency the Client’s forms, manuals, policies, employee handbooks, procedures and customs utilized by the business owner. G & M provides a complete review of the Client’s business tools on an annual basis. Moreover, if there is an immediate question or concern for the owner with a specific policy, action and/or document, it will be addressed at once.
- Fees: The fees for legal services are as follows: Platform One: $750/mo. (1-50 employees); Platform Two: $950/mo. (50-100 employees); Platform Three: $1,400/mo. (100-250 employees); and, Platform Four: $1,800/mo. (250-over employees).
- Restrictions: Just as “brick and mortar” In-House Counsel hires outside counsel for litigated matters, this service does not apply to legal matters that are placed in litigation and/or administrative hearings with regulatory authorities. G & M, will of course, represent the Client in any litigation or hearing process; however, outside counsel fees apply. Moreover, if a personal appearance of an attorney is requested by the Client for consult, inspection, or investigation to assist with the termination process, negotiation with a vendor, buffer media involvement, intercede in law enforcement or regulatory action, a flat fee of $250 will apply that covers time, fees and expenses. This service is designed to supplement a small to medium size business owners’ legal savvy and understanding with the legal expertise of licensed attorneys. It is not designed to replace an actual, in-house attorney. The program is structured to provide approximately 3 to 10 hours, per month, of legal services to the Client, depending on need. This results in a significant cost savings to the Client (e.g. $60/hr. vs. $225/hr.). However, as time is finite, and to avoid abuse of the program, once a Client has received 150 hours of legal services in one program year (please add 50 hours per Platform); the standard attorney fee rate will apply.
